GHOST CLUB BREAK
In 1993, after serving as
President and Chief Investigator for over thirty years,
Underwood departs from the Ghost Club.
The Ghost Hunters Almanac
, published in 1993.
“I have devoted much of my life
to the serious and impartial investigation of psychic phenomena.”
Underwood at Bovey House in Devon in the 90s.
“I have always tried to
carry out my investigations with care
and objectivity.”
“And if I have not
always achieved such aims,
at least I have tried.”
“But if I have succeeded in opening only one closed mind;
or if only one sceptic decides to become a ghost hunter…”
“…then my journey
into these difficult regions
will not have been in vain.”
